Volunteers are the backbone of our organization.The 2008 volunteer corp is presented by Edward Jones. A team of almost 800 volunteers are needed to produce the Jazz Festival each year. No specific experience is necessary – only enthusiasm! Volunteering can be an exciting, growing, enjoyable experience. Assignment & Scheduling Concessions or Guest Relations Concessions: Assist in selling soft drinks, beer, wine, martinis and margaritas. Concessions volunteer training is scheduled for May 14th & May 15th, 2008 at the Center of Clayton from 6-7pm. Guest Relations: Help staff the information booth, greet guests, survey guests and assist with bag check.	NOTE: Wine/Martini/Margarita and Beer Concessions now have one shift open: 6:30-9:15 pm only. Soda Concessions now has two shifts open: 4:00- 7:00 pm and 6:30-9:15 pm only. Thank you to those volunteers who filled the previous shifts! First Choice Second Choice volunteers in beer & wine/martini booth must be 21 years or older* Saturday, May 31, 2008 11:30am - 2:00pm 1:30pm - 4:30pm 4:00pm - 7:00pm 6:30pm - 9:15pm I will work all day! Volunteer Headquarters Help provide a welcoming environment for the volunteers as they check-in for their shifts.	NOTE: Volunteer HQ now has two shifts open: 1:00-4:00 pm and 3:30-8:00pm only. Concessions must attend Volunteer Training on Wednesday, May 14th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm or May 15th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
Volunteer Training is held at the Center of Clayton, located at 50 Gay Avenue, behind the Clayton High School.

If you are volunteering for any committee other than concessions, your training will be held twenty minutes prior to your shift. Please make every effort to arrive twenty minutes prior to your scheduled shift.
